1. That Council GIVE FIRST THREE READINGS to "Mobile Equipment
Financing Bylaw No. 8844, 2017".
2. That an alternative approval process in accordance with section 86 of the
Community Charter BE USED for the purpose of seeking approval of the
electors in relation to "Mobile Equipment Financing Bylaw No. 8844, 2017",
and that Council DIRECT Administration to return a report setting out
recommended resolutions of Council in order to undertake that process.
3. That the City of Prince George BE AUTHORIZED under section 175(1) of the
Community Charter to enter into short term financing agreements with the
Municipal Finance Authority in the maximum aggregate amount of $700,000
for the replacement of mobile and dispatch radio equipment, and that the
short term financing be repaid within five years of entering into each
agreement.
